About Me & How I Can Help You
Living, working, or studying abroad—or simply navigating significant life transitions—can bring unique emotional challenges: anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or a sense of feeling disconnected.
I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience across the UK and Italy (currently serving as a Senior Clinical Psychologist within the UK NHS). Having lived and worked internationally for many years, I specialize in psychological support for expats, international professionals, and students, helping them regain emotional stability, clarity, and confidence.
My Therapeutic Approach
I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to mental health. My practice is integrative and client-centered: I combine evidence-based models, drawing from classic psychotherapeutic traditions alongside modern Third Wave Psychology frameworks (such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - ACT, Mindfulness, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Schema Therapy).
Together, we will tailor a therapeutic space specific to your needs—equipping you with practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts, strengthen your resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
Areas of Expertise:
Expat & Cross-Cultural Support: relocation stress, cultural adaptation, identity transitions, and managing loneliness abroad.
Anxiety & Stress Management: panic symptoms, performance anxiety, chronic worry, and workplace burnout.
Self-Esteem & Personal Growth: navigating life changes, setting boundaries, and rebuilding confidence.
Relationship & Communication Dynamics: interpersonal challenges and cross-cultural relationship support.
Emotional Well-being & Mind-Body Health: managing somatic stress responses and mild-to-moderate life trauma.
"My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where you can express yourself freely and build the tools needed to thrive."
